yo I'm from Australia and fly in like the night before this. How do I get there from the city? Can someone hook a dude (maybe one of my friends too? not sure yet) with a lift?

So upset classes start the 22nd and I'll be off the island. Might have to find a way down for this. Anyone coming from Albany area?

Such a cool show to ring in January. Any way to get this show thread to display the shows in the date order or na?

@ ozzy guy: Yo I just moved out here and am in the city. It will take about 2-3 hours but you can take trains out there. Google maps might give you some different shit if you try that. If you have an iphone, get "hopstop"(spelling?). Its free and thats what I used to get out there. Its a little bit of a mission from the city but a nice trip.

If you have an iphone, get "hopstop"(spelling?). Its free and thats what I used to get out there. Its a little bit of a mission from the city but a nice trip. Directions from the city. Go to Penn Station 34th Street and take an LIRR train to the Glen Street station (it is on the Oyster Bay line.) For the Oyster Bay trains, you will have to do a quick transfer at the Jamaica station, where when you're there, you have to change trains. Most of the time you just get off the train you're on, and just wait for the next one to come on the same track. Ask an MTA employee, they will help you out. Once you're at Glen Street, I think the venue is less than a mile away. But if it's cold, you can post on the facebook event page for the show and ask if anyone can pick you up. Also tip: make sure you get off at Glen Street, because there's other stations called Glen Head and Glen Cove. Although the show is in Glen Cove, the venue is closer to the Glen Street train stop. I hope you guys make it! show will be a BLAST.
